Larsen Reviews: Karate Champ

Allow me to introduce myself: I’m Larsen Halleck of the website, Twitter feed, and Youtube channel linked below. My predominant field is writing about masculinity and all of its affiliate positions, but my side project is doing video reviews. I do this because A) The overwhelming majority of internet reviewers lean to the left, if they aren’t out-and-out social justice warriors, and B) Related to A, I feel that pop culture is a battleground that those on the right have long neglected, and suffered greatly for it.

Being in the somewhat unique position of starting life as a nerd before turning to this paradigm of thought, I am well-versed in B-Movies and video games, as well as nonsensical fitness instructionals. All three of these things I mock with my reviews.

So with all that being said, here is the first review I bring to New Media Central: a review of the 1984 retro gaming classic Karate Champ (I wanted to start with my new video, rather than one of my older ones). I will try to do a review every week or at the most, two weeks.

Please comment and subscribe on the Youtube video, and enjoy.
