Sources Claim 31 Year Old Man of Tunisian Descent Living in Nice is Responsible for Dozens Dead in Terrorist Attack in Nice France-UPDATE


Dozens of people have been killed and many more were injured after a truck plowed into a crowd in Nice, France during Bastille Day celebrations.
The local police prefect has confirmed that least 30 people were dead and over 100 were injured in the crash, Reuters reported, citing BFM TV.

According to Nice-Matin’s website they claim in French which I translated that the driver was a 31-year-old Tunisian Man.

Selon nos informations, c’est un Niçois d’origine tunisienne qui aurait conduit le camion. Le jeune homme de 31 ans a également tiré sur la foule pendant qu’il conduisait. Plus de 70 personnes sont mortes.

UPDATE– Dominique Rizet of BFM TV in France is reporting the attacker was known to the police for violence and use of weapons.

The attacker’s name is Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel according to news sources. French News sources claim he was married and has 3 children.
The driver is of Tunisian origin which disputes earlier reporting that he was bi-national. Holds a residence permit in France. According to The Wall Street Journal Tunisia has become a recruiting ground for ISIS.
